The game will feature a number of different modes: Multiplayer, Co-op, Survival Mode, but there is one glaring omission in the list. Let’s not beat around the bush here, the gameplay, and the look and feel are awesome! Players can play either republic or imperial characters in a co-operative setting aided by computer-controlled allies in their fight for the galaxy. So far battles will take place on Hoth, Endor, Tattooine, and Sullust, and another planet, Jakku, will be featured in a free DLC pack available in December. This installment reboots the game series, and focuses heavily on recapturing the look of the movies. The third in a series of first and third-person shooters, Star Wars: Battlefront is a gorgeous game with truly immersive graphics. In addition to paying the cost of the game, you have to buy an X-Box One system, which currently costs around $400. Halo 5 is an X-Box exclusive game, which makes the start up cost to play it much higher than a normal game. The biggest con to Halo has been one that has been a part of the game series since it’s inception. All in all, Halo 5 looks to be great fun. In addition, 343 Studios have made numerous enhancements, such as endless sprint, clamber, and enhanced melee. The idea of hunting an out-of-control Master Chief is compelling, and the entire Halo series, (yes, even Halo 4) had great storytelling, so prepare for an epic 4-player campaign mode and let the hunt begin! Spartan customization, a feature that was very popular in Halo: Reach returns, as do other features of the game, such as multiplayer arenas. But how do you hunt down the man who virtually won the war against the Covenant by himself?
Players will play Spartan Locke, who’s stated objective is to hunt down the Master Chief, whom the United Earth government believes has gone rogue. A new, mysterious force threatens the colony worlds, and the Master Chief’s loyalty has been called into question. The story of humanity’s greatest warrior: the Master Chief, continues in this the 5 th installment in the mainline Halo series. However, if due to finances, parents, or act of God you are only able to purchase one, lets put the games side-by-side and compare them to determine which is the greater value for your money. Which game should you buy? Well let’s assume that you are a fan of both franchises like I am. Now that October is here and the fall has officially arrived, gamers are anticipating the release of two games they have been drooling over all year: Halo 5, and Star Wars: Battlefront.
